  3. Updated demonstration of \pub\pc\win3\demo\movdemo.zip on anonymous

  6. Fixes installation bug where the message "Cannot access SETUPKIT.DLL"
  7. appeared.

  9. Lantern's MOVIE Animation Utility for Windows captures screen images
  10. from all Windows applications and plays them back to create motion.
  11. MOVIE requires no special video hardware to create or playback animations.
  12. In addition to the easy creation of your own MOVIE animations, the new 
  13. version offers a royalty free MOVIE Player which allows you to send your 
  14. animations to others who do not yet have MOVIE.
  15.  
  16. Lantern also offers a MOVIE Development Kit which allows you to embed 
  17. movie animations in Windows help files as well as providing an open API 
  18. to the animation DLL.  Support for embedding movies in Microsoft's 
  19. Multimedia Viewer files is also provided.

  21. The new version of MOVIE offers the following features:
  22.  
  23.    *   Records frames from any window or the entire screen.  Snap each
  24.        frame with a simple keystroke or click of the mouse.
  25.    *   Automatically record the changes in a window or the screen 
  26.        every n seconds or each time a window refreshes its contents.
  27.    *   Compact device independent file format can display 16, 256 or 
  28.        more colors.
  29.    *   Script language allows you to create self-running demonstrations 
  30.        including simple slide shows and animated sequences.

  34.          Windows 3.1 -- at least 2MB RAM -- 2.5MB free hard disk space

  36.          To install the MOVIE demonstration, unzip all of the files in 
  37.          MOVIE40.ZIP in a single directory and run SETUP.EXE from the 
  38.          Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
